Uber partners with Opibus to deploy up to 3,000 electric motorcycles in Africa by 2022

Following a successful pilot program in Africa, Uber and EV developer Opibus have entered into a strategic partnership to promote EV adoption across the continent. As part of the agreement, Opibus will provide 3,000 of its unique electric motorcycles to support Uber’s growing demand for emissions-free drivers across the continent.

Hyundai shares Ioniq 5 pricing alongside new Standard Range trim available under $40k

Hyundai has shared pricing for its much anticipated Ioniq 5 EV ahead of its launch in North America in 2022. Additionally, Hyundai has announced a Standard Range RWD trim for the Ioniq 5, which includes a 58 kWh battery pack and 220 miles of range for under $40,000.
