NH Research (NHR), a provider of power testing systems, has introduced a 600-volt input auto-transformer for the Canadian market for its 9300 series of DC sources.
The 9300 Series is a regenerative, bi-directional DC source that EV and energy storage designers can use as a battery test system, battery emulator, or regenerative DC load. Designers can scale the modular system up to 2.4 MW in 100 kW building blocks, offering a wide operating envelope. Its dual voltage range of 600 V and 1,200 V provides flexibility.
Developers can use the 9300 series for testing and emulation of battery modules/packs, fuel cells, ultracapacitors, power electronics, battery chargers, electric powertrains and propulsion systems.
Peter O’Brien, VP of Sales & Marketing at NHR, said, “NHR’s optional auto-transformer enables our customers with industrial applications in the Canadian market to easily plug into our 9300 high-performance platform. Our product development team carefully selected the 600 V input auto-transformer and supplier after evaluating safety, accuracy, speed and performance.”
