Kristen Helsel
Chief Executive Officer
Kristen is a seasoned C-suite executive known for developing dynamic revenue growth strategies, managing execution, and scaling for both established and start-up companies leading to successful exits. Kristen’s expertise in the clean tech, solar, energy storage, robotics, drones, aerospace, and battery industries stems from her passion for developing innovative, sustainable, and industry-leading disruptive technologies. Prior to joining Liberty, Kristen served as Chief Revenue Officer at Ideanomics, and Vice President and General Manager of Electric Vehicle Solutions at AeroVironment, where she was directly responsible for raising the company’s profile as one of the leading EV product and services providers in the marketplace.
Kate Lam
Chief Capital Officer, Head of Investor Relations
Kate has worked more than 25 years developing international business opportunities in financial markets, energy assets and disruptive technology. Throughout her career as a finance executive Kate has executed over $1 billion worth of financing deals; effectively led cross-cultural high-performing sales teams; and maintained senior level relationships with global institutions. Before joining Liberty, Kate served as Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets at Ideanomics, with previous roles including CEO of Propellr Securities; Managing Director and Head of Financial Market Sales at Standard Chartered Bank; and Director, Head of HK FIG Sales at Deutsche Bank.
Richard Grossi
Chief Financial Officer
Richard is an experienced senior financial executive who over the course of three decades has established his expertise in financial management, process analysis, web-based technologies, and strategic planning. Having driven strategic initiatives and successful business growth for companies across a variety of industries and countries, Richard provides invaluable insights into the business needs of Liberty’s customers, facilitating optimized service adaptability. Richard is a founder, former CFO and CEO of Kensium, where he established critical client relationships enabling entry into the e-commerce industry. Other previous roles include CFO at Heartland Alliance, Vice President of IMS Companies, LLC, President of EMark Systems, Inc., and CFO of MAN Roland Sheetfed Press Division.
Michael Keane
Chief Technology Officer
Michael has led Liberty’s technical operations, engineering teams, and product strategy for over 10 years, playing a key role in the development of the company’s hardware-based charge station management system, Hydra™. He is also the founder and owner of StratagoCorp.
Michael began his career in aerospace, designing the flight control system for the B2 bomber, and was awarded patents for his work on British Aerospace’s modulated automated test equipment. He later started his own software company, creating proprietary products for companies like Bausch and Lomb, Clear Channel Communications, and Castle Rock Entertainment. During the dot-com boom, he founded RealtyTrack, a real estate investment platform that he grew into a 100-employee, $100 million business.
Alex Pine
Vice President of Technical Support
Alex brings expertise in the electric vehicle, electrification, energy storage, and energy management fields. For over a decade, Alex has worked hands-on investigating and managing new clean energy and EV technologies, processes, and products, both as a community outreach advocate and technical support lead. Before joining Liberty, Alex was a decarbonization consultant at VEIC; a Technical Manager at Generac Power Systems; Technical Customer Service at Pika Energy; Director of Outreach and Technology at Maine Standard Biofuels; and EV Program Manager at College of the Atlantic.
Jeremy Niles
Vice President of Marketing and Channel Strategy
Jeremy has over 10 years of experience scaling companies in the electric vehicle, solar, energy storage, and commercial IoT industries. Prior to joining Liberty, Jeremy led B2B and B2C marketing strategy and execution at Pika Energy, leading up to the company’s acquisition by Generac Power systems. At Generac, he played a key role in the company’s successful entry into the residential solar and storage market by helping to build a national network of installers and dealers. Later he served as Senior Marketing Manager, overseeing launch strategy for new products and dealer programs.
