Liberty Plugins - CodeConnect™ Warranty Statement

Applicable Products: Liberty CodeConnect™ Wallbox Chargers Models: LP-CC-WBP-040 | LP-CC-WBP-048

1. Overview

Liberty Plugins (“Liberty”) warrants its CodeConnect™ technology components to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. This Warranty Statement applies to Liberty CodeConnect™ Wallbox Charger products purchased directly from Liberty Plugins or through an authorized Liberty reseller.

Important: The Liberty CodeConnect™ Wallbox Charger is built on Wallbox™ hardware enhanced with Liberty’s proprietary CodeConnect™ technology. This Warranty Statement covers only the CodeConnect™ components and functionality supplied by Liberty. The underlying Wallbox charger hardware is covered separately under Wallbox’s own manufacturer warranty. Please refer to the Wallbox warranty documentation included with your product for details on base charger hardware coverage.

2.1 What Is Covered

Liberty’s Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the following CodeConnect™ components and services:

b) CodeConnect™ rain guard backing plate
c) CodeConnect™ embedded firmware and encryption technology
d) Integration components connecting the keypad to the Wallbox charger
e) Defects in factory assembly of the CodeConnect™ components to the Wallbox unit

2.2 What Is Not Covered by This Warranty

The following are expressly excluded from Liberty’s Warranty and are subject to separate warranty terms from their respective manufacturers:

2.3 Warranty Service

Where a valid Warranty claim is accepted, Liberty will, at its sole discretion:

a) Provide remote diagnostic support to identify and, where possible, resolve the issue;
b) Supply new or reconditioned replacement CodeConnect™ components; or
c) Repair the defective CodeConnect™ component.

Non-expedited shipping costs for replacement parts sent to the Customer will be borne by Liberty.
Labor costs for the removal, installation, or replacement of CodeConnect™ components are the responsibility of the Customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Warranty Period

The Warranty Period for CodeConnect™ components is three (3) years from the date of commissioning, provided that commissioning is completed within ninety (90) days of delivery. If the product is not commissioned within ninety (90) days of delivery, the Warranty Period commences on the ninety-first (91st) day following delivery.

Note: Commissioning is required to activate this Warranty. Commissioning is completed by contacting Liberty’s technical support line at (855) 387-3783 to register the charger, verify the Liberty ID, and confirm operation with a test code. Products that are not commissioned are not eligible for Warranty coverage.

If Liberty repairs or replaces a CodeConnect™ component under this Warranty, the Warranty on the repaired or replaced component continues for the remainder of the original Warranty Period. Warranty service does not extend or restart the Warranty Period.

4. Warranty Claim Procedure

All Warranty claims must be submitted during the Warranty Period and in accordance with the following procedure. Failure to follow this procedure may result in the claim being denied.

a) Contact Liberty Support: Notify Liberty of the issue by calling (855) 387-3783 or by submitting a support request through the Liberty Access Platform.
b) Provide Required Information: The Customer must provide the Liberty ID (found on the front of the charger), a description of the defect, and proof of purchase if purchased through an authorized reseller.
