As we wrap up 2025, we’re taking time to reflect on the relationships, progress, and innovations that have shaped another successful year for Liberty Plugins. We’ve had a rewarding year with new partnerships, installations, and new product development that will form the foundation of our growth for years to come.
EV and charging markets are evolving and will continue to do so. Liberty is positioning itself to stay ahead of the curve, anchored by a solid base of IP, blue-chip customers and technology partners, we have the flexibility to weather storms and take advantage of opportunities as they emerge. This past year tested our entire industry: exciting new developments in vehicle and charge station technology despite a challenging macro environment. Regardless of, Liberty grew significantly by every measure and we’re optimistic about the future of our company.
According to the International Council on Clean Transportation, a decade of consistent growth has culminated in record-breaking EV sales, with more than 50% of new purchases occurring in the last 3 years. To accompany this, according to PWC: The EV charging market will need to grow nearly tenfold to satisfy the charging needs of an estimated 27 million EVs on the road by 2030. The at-work and on-the-go EV charging segments are projected to be the fastest growing through 2030, with Charge Point Operators forecasted to generate most of the revenue among EVSE players through integrated turn-key solutions. Of course, Liberty is well positioned to capitalize on that growth potential with solutions tailored for workplace and multi-unit applications, and best-in-industry value pricing.
The larger market holds plenty of promise, but our team is more energized by the role we’ve played in helping municipalities, school districts, apartment communities, government fleet operators, and property owners manage their EV charge stations with confidence. Pay close attention the case studies and stories we have lined up in Q1 to learn more about these stories.
The Rear View Mirror
We entered 2025 empowered by a new management team ready to relaunch the cutting-edge charging solutions we’re known for across the industry. We ended the year strong: thanks to boosted sales, we saw +22% growth in our CodeConnect™ charging revenue for us and our partners in 2025, and +81% growth in Hydra™ CSMS charging revenue.
July brought our biggest product launch to date: the Liberty CodeConnect™ Wallbox chargers. As industry veterans, we identified a problem that did not have an accessible, affordable solution: as long as there were places where chargers could not be practically deployed, there would always be places where EVs couldn’t go.
That’s why we teamed up with one of the most trusted names in the business, Wallbox, to do what nobody else could. We made a smart charger that does not rely on an internet connection to sell sessions and manage access.
Launched mid-year, the Liberty CodeConnect™ Wallbox chargers are a fusion of our patented U.S.-made CodeConnect™ encryption technology and Wallbox’s world-class industrial design. Remote parks and places of natural beauty, secure sites and government buildings, as well as cost-sensitive businesses, housing developments and organizations can now sell charging sessions without any internet connection.
Our boots were on the ground this year, as many of our team members attended industry trade shows and conferences to gain insights and share our expertise with peers and future customers. Jeremy Niles, our VP of Marketing and Channel Development, presented our management solutions at the EV Summit North America in Chicago in July, and additional executive team members made important connections at conferences in Boston, Los Angeles, and New York.
We also welcomed several members to the growing Liberty family! Terri Pollino, our new Vice President of Sales, brings 15 years of experience in the EV space to our table. We also welcomed Angela Lopez as Financial Controller. Dana Cole joined our team to lead customer service operations. Terri, Angela, Dana and all our new team members have brought innovative mindsets and bold ideas that will charge us forward into the next 15 years.
One of many things that remained constant throughout the year was the consistent dedication and engagement of our customer service team. 2025 saw several market shakeups, and some exits, that left many charge station operators stranded. Our retrofittable Hydra™ CSMS, that can be installed on virtually any make or model charger, was a lifeline to those who needed an affordable way to get their chargers back online quickly and efficiently. Our experts set the gold standard of customer service and experience, enabling orphaned users to easily switch over to Liberty.
“…I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude to you and your team for the outstanding service and support you have provided us throughout this year. Your team’s dedication and hard work have significantly improved our experiences with our customers, and we truly appreciate it.”
